Had a lovely couple of nights here on the start of our safari adventure. Lovely place and the food was the best we experienced in Kenya/Tanzania.
My only advice... read more for anyone reading, if you have the optional Masai village visit as an option from your agent, avoid this. It felt like a little bit of a show (had a much better experience visiting a village in Tanzania), and they guilt trip/ pressure you into buying souvenirs from them at the end.
Danson and his staff made our stay at the Enkorok camp special. Pick up and drop back to airport. All the safari's with the same vehicle and driver... read more who picks you up. The vehicles are top of the class for safari's with a fridge and enough electricity points. The raised roof makes photography easy!
I am a vegetarian and was worried about how I would manage! But Dan made sure there were more than enough variety in food - fruits and vegetables plus diverse source of starch and protein in the food to make me feel satiated! Staff is excellent and they made sure we felt pampered. Good rooms with attached bath/toilet in each tent! Enough electricity points to charge all the gear!
Wifi is available in the common areas but not in the tents. Tea/coffee sachets in the room, but water in flasks! Carry your water heating device/rod -- I did - if you are partial to tea/coffee at all hours like I am!
The only negative - there is no door/curtain to the bath/toilet area in the tents. Feels odd!

This is a very close to nature setting. We had great time, very close to masai mara reserve. Staff were excellent especially Danson, Arnold and Daniel. Amazing food I must... read more say. We really enjoyed three night stay, very clean and nice camp
They have some great ambience, good food... their tents are what you want to experience in the wild. The experience is beyond beautiful. Wouldn't mind revisiting. The staff is also... read more very welcoming.
Had the best time
Great place, clean, spacious rooms, felt connected to nature. Staff which are always ready to help and have a smiling face... specially Milton, Danson and Arnold...thanks again for a wonderful... read more experience..Stayed at the camp from 4th Oct to 6th Oct 2019....
Authentic camping-in the-wild experience with added advantage of having proper washrooms. Could not have asked for a better setting. The tents are placed quite a bit apart from each other... read more giving you the true feel of camping in nowhere. Unfenced, the grounds are protected by Masai warriors who keep vigil and make rounds throughout the night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Danson the head concierge who took care of everything with a huge smile making you feel at home. One major plus was that there was no WiFi in the tents giving you the true feeling of cut-off-from civilization. For all your internet needs there is WiFi available in the common area and the Dining area where you can stay as long as you need. The best part is that the lights go out at 11 pm in the night leaving you with a flashlight in case of emergencies and the call of the wild surrounding you. I and my husband stayed up late trying to identify each noise/ sound- there were definitely hyenas and some sort of low grumble of some kind of predator. It was most fun as the wind howling and shaking our tent made us feel like as if we might be under attack. A little bit of imagination can make anything so much fun. Extremely adventurous and highly recommended for people who likes that sort of thing. If you are a foodie who is into trying new stuff, this is also a heaven for you. Kudos to the chef who served us absolutely delicious dishes in every meal we had there. A cute little bar ensured we had good drinks with extremely yummy food. My only suggestion would be to have the name of the dishes displayed in front of the buffet so that we can recommend it to our friends. Overall, an amazing and a must have experience.
