Safari Summary

This is a unique safari package that gives you a chance to witness the great annual wildebeest migration. The migration occurs from July through to October of every year.

Alongside the wildebeest migration, the Masai Mara boasts of a buoyant wildlife ecosystem. Enjoy game drives in pursuit of the BIG 5 Wildlife (lions, leopard, elephants, rhino, buffalo) and the thriving birdlife.

The Masai Mara is home to over 3000 species of birds / wildlife !

This safari is ideal for the adventurous hearted. Feel the adrenaline rush watching the stampede of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River and River Talek while the crocodiles prey on the young and weak wildebeest crossing over.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Our tour guide / driver will meet you in the morning for the safari briefing, from here you will depart Nairobi by 0800hrs en route to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Masai Mara sits on the south of the Rift Valley.

While en route to the Mara, you will get to witness the amazing aerial view of the Great Rift Valley from the escarpments. This is an ideal photography feature with the panaromic backdrop of the rift valley just ahead.

You will arrive at the Enkorok Mara Camp for your check-in and unwind over a scrumptious lunch. In the afternoon you head on for an afternoon game drive. Afternoon in an ideal time to find the lions relaxing and the zebras and elephants at the water points quenching their thirst.

In the evening, you will head to the hotel for an evening dinner and rest in preparation for the thrilling adventures the following day.

Day 2 & 3 Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Trailing.

During this two days in the Masai Mara, you will spend most of the time trailing the wildebeest migration routes. The Mara Reserve covers over 1,510 km² with a dense wildlife population.

Some of the Activities that you can participate in include:

  2. Masai Cultural Village Visit: USD $30 per person
  3. Guided Nature Walk: USD $20 per person

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning breakfast then head on for the final game drive as you proceed to Nairobi scheduled arrival at 1500 hrs marking the end of the safari.
