TRIPADVISOR REVIEWS

  •   My husband and I took our children to the Maasai Mara for the first time on 25th sept and checked out on 27th sept, 2020. I can say it was... read more an experience we shall never forget, especially the night visits by the zebras outside our family tent(we heard them as late as 2am), and the roaring lion. I would like to thank all the staff, Carol for the smooth booking and the surprise song and dance with birthday cake for the September baby, Arnold at front office, the waiters and chefs for the natural tasty food, Director Joyce for even taking time to meet us on our way back. Martin our pilot and guide, you can be sure the boys will never forget the fun you put them through, maneuvering the wild terrain to ensure we caught a glimpse of the wild animals. Thank you for your explanation on the life of all the animals, birds and origin of the names. Very insightful/educative.
You can be sure we will be back to Enkorok Mara Camp. Ashe!!

  •   Authentic camping-in the-wild experience with added advantage of having proper washrooms. Could not have asked for a better setting. The tents are placed quite a bit apart from each other... read more giving you the true feel of camping in nowhere. Unfenced, the grounds are protected by Masai warriors who keep vigil and make rounds throughout the night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Danson the head concierge who took care of everything with a huge smile making you feel at home. One major plus was that there was no WiFi in the tents giving you the true feeling of cut-off-from civilization. For all your internet needs there is WiFi available in the common area and the Dining area where you can stay as long as you need. The best part is that the lights go out at 11 pm in the night leaving you with a flashlight in case of emergencies and the call of the wild surrounding you. I and my husband stayed up late trying to identify each noise/ sound- there were definitely hyenas and some sort of low grumble of some kind of predator. It was most fun as the wind howling and shaking our tent made us feel like as if we might be under attack. A little bit of imagination can make anything so much fun. Extremely adventurous and highly recommended for people who likes that sort of thing. If you are a foodie who is into trying new stuff, this is also a heaven for you. Kudos to the chef who served us absolutely delicious dishes in every meal we had there. A cute little bar ensured we had good drinks with extremely yummy food. My only suggestion would be to have the name of the dishes displayed in front of the buffet so that we can recommend it to our friends. Overall, an amazing and a must have experience.

  •   This was a full-on GLAMP experience! The tent was very comfortable and the entire setting felt like our own private swath of the savanah. The camp has a panoramic view... read more of the surrounding landscape, that we noticed other camps did not. Additionally, the camp was super accomodating of our vegetarian meal requests for both our hot meals in the camp and the boxed lunches we took on the road. The food was delicious and the buffet-style dining meant that we could eat at our liesure and not have to wait through a whole meal service. Moreover, we really appreciated the option for adult beverages at the bar after a long day on safari. I would also like to note that the staff was especially kind and professional. We felt so at ease and welcomed here that we really looked forward to returning to our cozy tent every night. More
